From Windhoek we went to Gobabis (working our way up to where I was born and to see the northwestern regions of Namibia).

Gobabis is a small town (they say ‘city’, but no) in eastern Namibia; it is the regional capital of the Omaheke Region. We visited family in Gobabis which was just delightful!

We stayed in the Xian Quaz Rest Camp about 10 km west of Gobabis. A lovely and luxurious campsite and their food was excellent!; loved it!

We went to the Harnas Wildlife Foundation about an hours’ drive from Gobabis
