We arrived in Keetmanshoop on 5 June. Keetmanshoop is 216kms from Karasburg. As usual, first things first, we set up our caravan and had a relaxing evening with our special little friends.

Naute Kristall Cellar and Distillery

They are well-known for their date brandy, so we had to go and have a taste. Turns out they have delicious spirits and gins flavoured from local produced fruits and herbs. We enjoyed meeting the team and all the eats and treats they introduced us to.

Naute Dam

On our way to the distillery we drove past the Naute Dam, which is the 3rd largest dam in Namibia and was built by Concor between 1970 and 1972.

See the video of us driving over the bridge with running water.

Keetmanshoop Museum

Here are a few of he many photos we took.

The museum look cool, great that you can touch all those old things and that they aren't locked behind glass or behind barriers.
